The Application is submitted for the Grant in aid to meet the expenditure.

Salary To Staff
A well trained team of staff is posted to manage and teach the students. At present the strength of the students is 131. Unlike normal schools, the teacher- student ratio is 1:5. Hence new teachers need to be appointed besides regular teachers & staff for vocational training, family councilors, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical education teacher, teachers for cultural activities, other office staff, ayahs, sweeper & helper etc. Salary of the staff is a major problem confronting us. The salary expenditure for this year will come up to Rs.10 Lakhs.

Transportation
Most of the children are from rural uneducated families within an area of 10 kilometers. Two buses are running to bring the children to the school. A large amount is spent for the transportation and maintenance of the vehicles.

Infrastructural facilities
A spacious 3 storied building is prepared for the school. Transport facilities like public transport, medical care, postal services, telephone, electricity and water are available in the vicinity of the institution.

Teaching Aids & Equipment.
Special and different types of teaching aids are available for the educational purpose of these children. There is colour T.V, V.C.P, C.D player and a tape recorder and computer in the school as very good mediums of teaching. Several equipment for speech therapy, physical training, vocational training, sports and games are also necessary. A large sum of money was spent towards these.

Additional requirements
A few more chairs and tables, cupboards are needed. Besides this, the day to day miscellaneous expenses should be met. In short an amount of Rs.18 lakhs is needed for salary to staff, transportation of the children, maintenance of the building, stipend to the children, teaching aids and equipments, contingency expense, excursion, sports& cultural activities etc. for the better and proper development of the institution.
